Lyrics
I was listening through the static
Where your name began to fade
Every heartbeat turned to distance
Every promise turned to shade
There were lights below the water
There were voices in the rain
I kept walking through the border
Between memory and pain
Then it calls
From the black blue
Soft and far
Pulling me through
I follow
The signal in the dark
I follow
The echo of your heart
Let the night breathe
Let the silence open
I am still here
Unspoken
All the cities turned to embers
All the windows lost their glow
I don’t ask the stars for answers
I just go where shadows go
There is silver under thunder
There is fire under scars
When the sky begins to fracture
I can hear you in the stars
So I drift
Where the lost lights are
Let me fall
Past the last radar
I follow
The signal in the dark
I follow
The echo of your heart
Let the night breathe
Let the silence open
I am still here
Unspoken
Take my fear
Take my fever
Take the road
Take the receiver
Take the ache
Take the spark
Leave me only
With the dark
I follow
The signal in the dark
I follow
The echo of your heart
Let the night breathe
Let the silence open
I am still here
Unspoken
I follow
Through the distance
Through the ocean
Through resistance
I follow
I follow
The signal
In the dark
The idea#
Love as weak radio through static. A name fading, heartbeat turned to distance, lights under water, voices in rain—walking the border “between memory and pain.” Then the call from “black blue,” soft and far, pulling through. “I follow / The signal in the dark” is both romance and survival tactic. Dark-driving vocal trance thrives on that pursuit: uplift as tracking beam.
Cities to embers, windows without glow; no questions for the stars—only going “where shadows go.” Silver under thunder, fire under scars; when sky fractures, the beloved is heard in the stars. The surrender list—take fear, fever, road, receiver, ache, spark—asks to be left “only with the dark,” which is paradoxically where the signal lives. Presence remains “unspoken”: connection without clean resolution, fidelity as endless following through ocean and resistance.
