The idea#
Laser-fish, octopus DJ, jellyfish dancers, electric eels with neon eyes: the dance floor reimagined as absurd aquarium. Shark in the disco, fins in the air; bass tsunami; rave as ocean. Boom and crash and whirlpool—no compromise, no dry land.
Nocturnal euphoric electronic music can be deadly serious; this one chooses carnival. The jokes are the substance. Body and beat matter more than meaning, and meaning is allowed to be silly without apology.
I hear pure permission to be ridiculous under strobe light—a small, necessary heresy against the solemnity of so much night culture.
