But the masses turn away,

Blind in glass minds, they fall in line,
Darkness their comfort, silence their shrine.
One spark of vision, a fracture, a tear,
Few see the world as it’s truly there.
Stone-built towers, hollow breath,
Echo chambers dressed in death.
Noise and laughter fill the air,
But no one knows, and none will care.
Carved illusions, velvet chains,
Lead them dancing in the rain.
Blind devotion, brittle pride,
Never question, never fight.
Blind in glass minds, they fall in line,
Darkness their comfort, silence their shrine.

Few see the world as it’s truly there.
The idea#
A crowd poem of willful blindness: empty eyes chasing flame, masses turning from truth “written on the wall,” darkness as comfort and silence as shrine. “Blind in glass minds, they fall in line”—the glass suggests both screen and fragility, minds that reflect without seeing.
Dark nu-metal electronics give the sermon its teeth. Echo chambers, velvet chains, brittle pride: the lyric’s contempt is almost classical satire, yet “one spark of vision, a fracture, a tear” admits a slim heresy of sight. Few see the world as it is—perhaps the track wants to be that fracture more than that sermon.
