Lyrics
In the neon light, your shadow’s near
Every step you take, I feel you here
City streets are cold, but you’re my flame
Whisper through the night, just call my name
I’m not afraid of the dark
When you’re the spark in my heart
Every beat is yours to claim
Say the word, I’ll play your game
Call me tonight
I’ll be your fire, burning bright
Hold me so tight
Under the moon, we’ll take flight
Call me tonight
We’ll chase the stars till morning light
Don’t let me go
You know, you know, you know
Every rhythm pulls me into you
Like the tide that moves, I can’t undo
Dancing in your eyes, I lose my fear
Every note you sing, I want to hear
I’m not afraid of the dark
When you’re the spark in my heart
Every beat is yours to claim
Say the word, I’ll play your game
Call me tonight
I’ll be your fire, burning bright
Hold me so tight
Under the moon, we’ll take flight
Call me tonight
We’ll chase the stars till morning light
Don’t let me go
You know, you know, you know
Your touch is the rhythm
Your kiss is the rhyme
We’re lost in a moment
Outside of all time
If love is a secret
Then you hold the key
So call me tonight
And set my soul free
Call me tonight
I’ll be your fire, burning bright
Hold me so tight
Under the moon, we’ll take flight
Call me tonight
We’ll chase the stars till morning light
Don’t let me go
You know, you know, you know
The idea#
Neon, cold streets, a flame that answers the dark: classic eurodance architecture, almost proudly so. “I’m not afraid of the dark / When you’re the spark in my heart” is the contract—desire as safety, the night as stage rather than threat. Touch becomes rhythm, kiss becomes rhyme; time steps outside itself for one call.
Yet the mood tags dark and nocturnal sit under the euphoria like wet pavement under club light. The plea “Don’t let me go” suggests the flight under the moon is borrowed, not guaranteed. I hear a song that knows how temporary its own brightness is and still asks to burn until morning.
